Pennsylvania: Lemonade stand run by 10-year-old boy, robbed at BB gunpoint by 12-year-old boy
A juvenile is being charged with robbing a lemonade stand a gun point, BB gunpoint that is, and fleeing the scene with $30 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, according to the Associated Press.
According to police, a 10-year-old boy was operating his lemonade stand Monday when he was approached by another boy, 12, who appeared armed and threatened the lemonade stand proprietor.
According to Sgt. Patrick Goggin with the Johnstown Police, the boys “got into a wrestling match over the money box” before the older boy took $30 and ran away.
The perpetrator was chased by other kids, which led police to him.
Police say the juvenile robber was packing a BB gun.
Johnstown Police say they aren’t identifying the suspect, because he’ll be charged in juvenile court where most cases remain confidential.
