‘Pee wee’s Big Adventure’ Bike sells for over $35K on eBay
While it’s unclear if the bike was screen used or a promotional item, but the Pee wee’s Big Adventure bicycle sold for a big number on eBay.
From the auction, the seller the bike, which came “with an autographed photo of Paul Reubens, a photo of him signing the photo, letter/certificate of authenticity, Warner Bros plans/spec sheet on the red cargo boxes.” (Edits done by The Dispatch)
The beautiful red and white bike was as iconic as the character made famous by Reubens. Pee-wee Herman became a staple after the 1985 hit movie and the eBay user states he was “the third owner. I bought it in 2010 for $10,000. Selling because my family is getting larger.”
After 55 bids, the auction went for $36,600, well above the $14,950 starting price.
Pee-wee was an eccentric man-child who gets his beloved bike stolen in broad daylight, and then sets out across the U.S. on the adventure of his life.
