Patricia J Sullivan Elementary School students to show off dance skills at Straz Center

Homeless students at Sullivan Elementary will perform at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts tomorrow.

Patricia J. Sullivan Elementary School students in grades kindergarten through five will showcase their dance skills in this colorful and adorable circus-themed performance. In addition, artwork created by the students will be on display.

Through an innovative partnership, students received free dance instruction from Patel Conservatory teachers during the entire school year. Drew’s Shoes donated costumes and the Patel Conservatory paid for the set and purchased new ballet shoes at the beginning of the school year.

This performance is open to students’ families and the media, but RSVP is required by calling 813.493.1805. More information about the Patel Conservatory is available by calling 813.222.1002 and by visiting www.patelconservatory.org.

The Patel Conservatory offers classes in dance, music and theater for students of all ages and experience levels. Class registration and more information are available at www.patelconservatory.org and by calling 813.222.1040.
