Pastor Saeed Abedini jailed for 365 days, prayer vigils being organized for September
Worldwide cries for the release of the American pastor jailed Iran has gotten louder with the one year anniversary of his imprisonment.
July 28 marks the 365th day Saeed Abedini has endured physical abuse, embarrassment and harm in the Evin Prison.

Pastor Saeed Abedini has been sent to solitary confinement during his prison sentence in Iran.
“With the loud voice of the prison guard, our visitation had ended and they put covers over our eyes and we returned to the dark room void of any natural sunlight,” Abedini wrote in a March letter to his wife describing his conditions.
Now supporters are organizing globally for a September 26th vigil to raise awareness and demand Abedini’s release.
Abedini was working on a government approved project to build orphanages when he was detained at his parent’s home in Iran. From house arrest, he was then transferred to the prison and held ever since.
