Paramount releases ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ official synopsis
Director JJ Abrams and Paramount have kept the details of the new Star Trek film under wraps. Monday the studio released the official synopsis which is certain to excite Trek fans.
Paramount confirmed earlier in November that the first trailer will debut during the release of “The Hobbit” on December 14, but now the studio confirms that the first nine minutes of the film will be shown in front of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in IMAX 3D
The film stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Noel Clarke, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
“Star Trek Into Darkness” opens in 3D and IMAX 3D on May 17, 2013.
