‘Outbreak News’ returning to the Tampa Bay airwaves

The Global Dispatch Inc. is happy to announce the return to the airwaves of the Outbreak News This Week Radio Show in the Tampa Bay area. After a short hiatus, Microbiologist and Editor of the news site, Outbreak News Today, Robert Herriman will bring the world of infectious diseases back to Tampa radio.

From outbreaks of exotic diseases in far away lands to infections being seen right here in our own backyard, Robert will be covering it all.
The Global Dispatch Inc is proud to say that the Outbreak News This Week Radio Show will begin airing on 860 AM WGUL in Tampa beginning this Sunday, November 2, 2014.
The first show will focus on Ebola–with one segment on the true crisis that is occurring in West Africa, how we got here and where were headed, and the second segment will look at the virus itself–its hardiness, survivability, transmission, and the effects of mutation.
Guests lending their expertise include Tara Smith, PhD, Associate Professor with the Department of Biostatistics, Environmental Health Sciences, and Epidemiology at Kent State University’s College of Public Health and Earth’s Virology Professor, Vincent Racaniello, PhD, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Columbia University.
