‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5: Sinqua Walls will return as Lancelot
Once Upon a Time fans can look forward to seeing the return of Lancelot in the show’s fifth season as the show’s executive producer Edward Kitsis confirmed that actor Sinqua Walls will reprise his role as the famous knight in the upcoming season, which will introduce the legend of Camelot.
“Oh man, you can’t go to Camelot and not see Lancelot,” Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly.
Walls, who has also starred in Teen Wolf as Vernon Boyd, previously appeared as Lancelot in the second season via flashback.
In the present, Cora (Barbara Hershey) claimed to have killed Lancelot and taken on his appearance in order to escape the Enchanted Forest with Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Jennifer Morrison’s Emma.
In typical Once Upon fashion, it was never revealed whether Lancelot was really dead or not.
Season five of the popular ABC series will see the characters seeking out legendary wizard Merlin in order to tame the Dark One.
Actors Sean Maguire (Robin Hood) and Rebecca Mader (Zelena) have been made series regulars.
Once Upon a Time begins airing its fifth season on September 27 on ABC.
