NYCC 2014 update: Netflix releases more detailed synopsis for ‘Daredevil’ series
The Daredevil panel was set to appear at the New York Comic Con, possibly unveiling more details or pics from the upcoming Marvel series. The official page has launched over at Netflix, with a brief synopsis and an updated version of the series’ logo – check it out below.
Here’s the new synopsis: “Marvel’s Daredevil is a live action series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night.”
Sadly, official have not confirmed a reschedule date/time, but the Daredevil panel is off according to officials at the NYCC. Patrons were described as “unruly” and “uncooperative” to a Global Dispatch rep at the event on Saturday. Bleeding recounted more details “Marvel canceled the signing event and attempted to exit every one out of line. Things became heated as fans were obviously upset by it. Words were exchanged, complaints issued, ad eventually the crowd disbursed.”
