NYCC 2014: Ben McKenzie talks Harvey Dent in ‘Gotham,’ being a ‘team’

Batman fans are enjoying the new show Gotham and star Ben McKenzie and executive producer Danny Cannon spoke briefly about the addition of Harvey Dent, the character who later becomes Two-Face

“They’re learning from each other,” McKenzie said about Harvey to Den of Geek at the New York Comic-Con.

Dent will be played by Nicholas D’Agosto, who starred as the lead in Final Destination 5 and was West Rosen on Heroes.

Cannon confirms when Dent shows up and how the creators are handling the complex character.

“In episode nine, we’re meeting him,” Cannon said in the Oct. 12 article. “What’s great about him is he’s another idealistic assistant DA who understands, just like Jim does, how corrupt this place is. There’s no hint yet about a dark side to this guy. It’s much more about is he going to help Jim through this world or are they actually going to be at odds? Are they two north magnets? That’s what we’re going to explore.”
