North Korea ‘man on the sun’ spoof continues, the Hermit Kingdom threatens Ireland
Leave it to Colm Williamson to keep the wheels in motion on this one.
We all recall the incredible satire piece Mr. Williamson wrote about 3 weeks ago of a North Korean teen-astronaut’s journey to become the first ever man to land on the sun. It was so good that some reputable news sources fell for it in part.
Not one to let this go by the wayside, Williamson follows up with a story Saturday in the satire publication, Waterford Whispers News by claiming to receive a very hostile and belligerent letter straight from the General Secretary of Defense in North Korea.
The letter, translated into English by Joe, goes as follows:
Hello,
Our Glorious Leader with the full might of his Army seeks to make you aware of an error in your trusted news article.
Last week you reported my country had newly landed a man on the Sun. This is (a) mistake. You think we are fools, backward thinking pigs. If you cared to do your research you would see we are planning to land on the planet Mars and its moon.
What you have made here is a lie about my country and its people and you will pay an unmerciful price for making a mockery of our country and our dearest leader Kim Jong Un.
Please print a correction and apologies from the Ireland (Irish) people to reflect the truth or expect our full military might to rain down on you in an impressively coordinate fashion, Sincerely the Office of the Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
