North Dakota murder suicide: Astra Volk kills her kids, Tyler Talmage, Aidan Talmage, and Arianna Talmage and then himself
A shocking North Dakota murder suicide has rocked a community as police explained that a mother, Astra Volk, killed her three children and then herself.
Police responded to a welfare check: “When the officer arrived, he investigated what he could from the outside and saw what appeared to be a body inside the residence,” said Grand Forks Police Lt. Derik Zimmel.

“He forced entry into the home based upon those circumstances and subsequently discovered four individuals who were deceased within the house.”
Astra Volk, 35, was dead from gunshot wounds with her three children: Tyler Talmage, 14, Aidan Talmage, 10, and Arianna Talmage, 6.
Volk reportedly struggled to financially support her family, but police offered no clear motive.
She posted a message on a GoFundMe page last week indicating that she and her sons “suffer from mental illness, manic depression” and other health issues, KFGO reported.
She explained they had been hospitalized as a result and that she had struggled to pay their medical bills.
