No surprise, Theo Rossi’s Shades will return during ‘Luke Cage’ season 2

The Marvel/Netflix series Luke Cage elaborated on the heroics of Power Man in Harlem (after an introduction in Jessica Jones) and it was certain that a season 2 would be ordered and now fans learn that Theo Rossi’s Shades, a bad guy who made his presence felt in a big way, will indeed be back.
“Now that I’m on Netflix with Marvel, and to be on the number one show on Netflix in Luke Cage, it’s like cable television 2.0,” Rossi said in an interview with Parade, published in a new post by Comic book movie.
“I’ve been very lucky and very fortunate in my decisions and in the people who wanted me to be with them with things like Sons [of Anarchy] and Luke Cage … I honestly couldn’t ask to be in a better situation with the caliber of people I’m around. Walking on the streets that I skateboarded in and ran around doing graffiti in, it’s a pretty incredible feeling. There’s a memory on every street, on every block, and I get to be close to my family. It’s all perfect.”
The powered up Diamondback will likely return as a formidable threat against Cage and Rossi confirmed that the new season could arrive next year.
Rossi confirmed the Marvel series, that it will reach Netflix in 2018. “Luke Cage is going down, [we’re in] season two. We’re pretty excited, it’ll be nice to get back into the swing.”
Mike Colter will certainly be back as the titular character with Rosario Dawson likely to reprise her role as Claire, the Night Nurse.
