New trailer for ‘World War Z’ set for Super Bowl
A Super Bowl spot for “World War Z” places Brad Pitt and his family right in the middle of a global catastrophe.
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
These are not the typical zombies as Marc Forster says, “In Max Brook’s book they move in the George Romero fashion. I feel like we have a little bit different approach,” he said. “But it doesn’t exclude that they might not eventually be fashioned how George Romero’s zombies move, it’s just a little bit different approach. I think that will probably be the biggest discussions that there will be.”
World War Z opens on June 21.
