New trailer for ‘The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug’ and new character posters
The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug has released a new gallery of character posters and another new full-length trailer.
Tauriel, Thranduil and Bard the Bowman, as well as LOTR favorite, Legolas all star in their own poster with Gandalf, Bilbo and Thorin having theirs.
The new trailer features previously unseen footage, as Bilbo Baggins and the company of Dwarves press on in their attempts to rid the Dwarven homeland of its unwanted house-guest.
Smaug certainly makes his presence known here, hissing “I am the king under the mountain,” before engulfing the camera in a wall of flame.
Smaug will be voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, The Fifth Estate) but few details have been revealed about the dragon as the Peter Jackson inches closer.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug opens in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and HFR on December 13th.
