New show reveals Japanese injecting saline to create ‘Bagel Head’
A new show on National Geographic’s Taboo revealed the next bizarre treatment where people have saline injected into their foreheads.
The process, popular in Japan, was shown in the show as John, Marin and Scorpion have a large needle, attached to a saline drip, inserted into their foreheads.
The next look, nicknamed Bagel Head, is the result of a two hour treatment which will not last longer than one day. The saline is absorbed by the body and the forehead returns to its normal size.
Bagel Head is just the latest in the country’s underground body modification scene.
Taboo airs Sundays at 10pm ET/PT on the National Geographic Channel and will premiere in the UK in January 2013.
