New Psy music video, ‘Gentleman’ sets new You Tube record for views
As of early Monday evening, South Korean singer, Psy’s new video, “Gentleman” tallied in excess of 70 millions views on You Tube.
The “Gangnam Style” star’s video smashed the previous record for single-day views of 8 million, set by Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” video in last May. “Gentleman” racked up 20 million views in the first 24 hours of being posted.
Excited about the new record, Psy tweeted today:

In the video, the “Gentleman” is seen in a variety of scenes with women pulling pranks ranging from turning up the speed on a treadmill to watch the lady fall off to pulling a chair out from under a woman at dinner to disgustingly picking his butt and placing his fouled fingers under a woman’s nose.
Gentleman” was ranked in the top 10 songs on iTunes stores in a number of countries Monday, including France, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Sweden. It also topped the chart in Finland.
Comments on his YouTube channel over the video ranged from unimpressed:
This made less sense than gangnam style… if that is even possible. and,
Sounds like the same beat format as gangnam style, the exact same :/ oh god, one hit wonder
To simply: Awesome!
Psy’s video “Gangnam Style” and his signature horse-riding dance went viral and put the South Korean on the map.
