New promo and photos for ‘Hannibal’ season 2 feature Hugh Dancy in jail, battle between Crawford and Lecter

NBC dropped a new poste  featuring Hugh Dancy, a new promo and several photos in their promotion of the second season of Hannibal.

Hannibal picks up with Will Graham (Dancy) still in custody at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, framed for Hannibal’s murder of Abigail.

Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) steps in to help when bodies wash up on a riverbank. The big question is whether or not Dr. Bloom will be able to help Will regain his memories.

Laurence Fishburne stars as Jack Crawford, the head of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit. Caroline Dhavernas and Hettienne Park also co-star.

Boardwalk Empire star Michael Pitt, Ginger Snaps actress Katharine Isabelle and Sex and the City veteran Cynthia Nixon are among the new cast additions for Hannibal‘s second season.

The season begins on February 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with the episode called “Kaiseki.”

New pictures from season two opener ‘Kaiseki’ shows Hannibal Lecter (Mikkelsen) in a violent confrontation with the FBI’s Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne).
