New poster for ‘Independence Day Resurgence’ highlights global scale
Fans always knew the aliens were coming back, but it took twenty years to get another Independence Day film to production. Independence Day: Resurgence will pick up years after the first film and new poster teases the action.

The film sees the return of Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox and Brent Spiner. Citzens of earth are using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.
Independence Day: Resurgence adds newcomers Liam Hemsworth, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.
The invasion returns this summer as Independence Day: Resurgence hits theaters on June 24, 2016.
