New photo from ‘World War Z’ zombie film showcases Brad Pitt
Paramount faced a long, difficult road to adapt Max Brooks‘ book World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War but this summer the film will arrive in theaters.
Brad Pitt fronts the epic zombie apocalypse pic from director Marc Forster.
Anthony Mackie, Matthew Fox, Mireille Enos, and James Badge Dale co-star in the adaptation
The film opens on June 21st.

Here’s the official synopsis for World War Z:
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
