New banners for ‘The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug’ feature the main characters

A set of five new banners for The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug have been unleashed online.

Featuring a few of the film’s many major characters, keeping the spooky theme, they are certain to excite with the dwarves in particular all up for some blade-swinging action.

Peter Jackson’s second Hobbit film is all about the dwarves’ attempt to seize back the Kingdom of Erebor from that titular dragon.

Thranduil (Lee Pace) gets a poster all to himself and fans get a good look at Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman and Stephen Fry’s Master of Lake-town makes a little cameo.

Ian McKellen, Evangeline Lilly and Orlando Bloom all show up in the final two banners as the classic characters famous from the LOTR franchise.
