Neocon’s Bolton and Graham try to scare the American people into more military escapades
Are you shaking in your boots yet? Some of the most prominent neoconservatives in the country tried their hardest to do just that as they attempt to sway the country for more military intervention.
It started just hours ago when John Bolton’s nonprofit war propaganda organization, The Foundation for American Security and Freedom, released the ultimate scare tactic and a direct jab at Kentucky Senator and Republican presidential candidate, Rand Paul.
In the video, a beautiful family sits down to dinner, apparently their last, as a nuclear explosion happens. On comes Rand Paul and his 2007 statement-“our national security is not threatened by Iran having one nuclear weapon.”
Mr Bolton has a lengthy history of doing things like this, hyperbolic scare tactics. In 2010, Bolton warned Israel they had 8 days to launch a military strike against the Bushehr nuclear power facility in Iran, or else it would be too late.
Then three years later, the bushy mustached former Ambassador said, “Israel should have attacked Iran yesterday. Every day that goes by puts Israel in greater danger, every day Iran makes more progress.”

John Bolton more recently has called for “boots on the ground” in the Middle East–sending our sons, daughters, fathers and mothers.
However, Mr. Bolton did find a way to avoid fighting overseas in the Vietnam war and ws very clear why he didn’t want to go: “I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy.”
What about American men and women today dying in the sand of Iraq and Syria?
During the “kid’s table” presidential debate on FNC today, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham talked of our mortal danger in the US from ISIL.
Debate moderator Bill Hemmer asked Sen Graham, “Why should the American people after two wars in Iraq sacrifice yet again on a third war?”
Graham responded as follows: “If we don’t stop them over there, they are coming here just as sure as I stand here in front of you.
“One thing I want to be clear about tonight. If you’re running for president of the United States and you don’t understand that we need more American ground forces in Iraq and that America has to be part of a regional ground force that will go into Syria and destroy ISIL in Syria, then you’re not ready to be commander in chief. And you’re not serious about destroying ISIL.
“According to the generals that I know and trust, this air campaign will not destroy ISIL. We need a ground force in Iraq and Syria, and America has to be part of that ground force. According to the FBI and the director of national intelligence, Syria’s becoming a perfect platform to strike our nation. I’ve got a very simple strategy as your president against ISIL. Whatever it takes, as long as it takes, to defeat them.”
Later in the debate reiterated his stance: “If I am president of the United States, we’re going to send soldiers back to Iraq, back to Syria, to keep us from being attacked here and keep soldiers in Afghanistan because we must.
“I cannot tell you how much our nation is threatened and how we need a commander in chief who understands the threats to this nation.
“If you’re running for president of the United States and you do not understand that we cannot defend this nation without more of our soldiers over there, you are not ready for this job.”
