Now we have a White House that has announced that it is perfectly “Legal” for drones to strike and kill American Citizens.

“Attorney General Eric Holder, in a talk at Northwestern University Law School in March, endorsed the constitutionality of targeted killings of Americans provided that the government determines such an individual poses “an imminent threat of violent attack.”
But the memo obtained by NBC News refers to a broader definition of imminence and specifically says the government is not required to have “clear evidence that a specific attack on U.S. persons and interests will take place in the immediate future.””

Our nation went to war against tyrants who killed their own citizens.. are we now saying it is perfectly acceptable for our Federal government to kill us? Without a judge, jury or trial? Seriously?
“FBI Director Robert Mueller on Wednesday said he would have to go back and check with the Department of Justice whether Attorney General Eric Holder’s “three criteria” for the targeted killing of Americans also applied to Americans inside the U.S.
Pressed by House lawmakers about a recent speech in which Holder described the legal justification for assassination, Mueller, who was attending a hearing on his agency’s budget, did not say without qualification that the three criteria could not be applied inside the U.S.
“I have to go back. Uh, I’m not certain whether that was addressed or not,” Mueller said when asked by Rep. Tom Graves, R-Ga., about a distinction between domestic and foreign targeting. Graves followed up asking whether “from a historical perspective,” the federal government has “the ability to kill a U.S. citizen on United States soil or just overseas.”
“I’m going to defer that to others in the Department of Justice,” Mueller replied.”
He’ll have to check? Are you kidding me?
The White House Press Secretary Jay Carney explained that they take “great care” before killing US citizens, and not to worry because the killing of US citizens without trial or evidence is “legal”, “ethical”, and “wise”.
a memo was leaked that the White House believes it has the authority to kill US citizens without a trial and without “clear evidence”. They claim they will only do this in the war on terror, so we have nothing to fear. Also, I’d like to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge.
Every time a politician tells you that you have nothing to fear, that’s the time you should fear the most. The goal isn’t just to fight the war on terrorism. It never has been just about that. Politicians crave power like you and I crave to be respected as human beings with God-given rights.
The constitution is very clear. There is no “right” for the president to kill US citizens without a trial, and presenting clear evidence during that trial full-in-line with due process. The entire Bill of Rights, the 14th Amendment — it’s all there, plain as day, protecting us from the government doing such a thing as this.

Americans must awake from their slumber and DEMAND that these criminals in the White House are removed… and we cannot afford to wait until another election to do it.
We must ring Congressional phone lines until they burn up to demand that this madness end and that this Obama and his lackeys be impeached and tried for crimes against the American people!
In the meantime, cities like Charlotteville, VA have already taken measures to protect their skies.
WHEREAS, the rapid implementation of drone technology throughout the United States poses a serious threat to the privacy and constitutional rights of the American people, including the residents of Charlottesville; and
WHEREAS, the federal government and the Commonwealth of Virginia have thus far failed to provide reasonable legal restrictions on the use of drones within the United States; and
WHEREAS, police departments throughout the country have begun implementing drone technology absent any guidance or guidelines from law makers;
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the City Council of Charlottesville, Virginia, endorses the proposal for a two year moratorium on drones in the state of Virginia; and calls on the United States Congress and the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia to adopt legislation prohibiting information obtained from the domestic use of drones from being introduced into a Federal or State court, and precluding the domestic use of drones equipped with anti-personnel devices, meaning any projectile, chemical, electrical, directed-energy (visible or invisible), or other device designed to harm, incapacitate, or otherwise negatively impact a human being; and pledges to abstain from similar uses with city-owned, leased, or borrowed drones.
Imagine that! Cities must now enact laws to protect their citizens from the Federal Government!!
and YES, This is precisely what the 2nd Amendment is for!
To fight off a tyrannical and out of control power hungry government.
