MSNBC’s Joy Reid wrong on immigration facts in attack of Ivanka Trump’s photo with her son
A sweet photo of First Daughter and White House advisor Ivanka Trump embracing her 2-year-old son enraged the left, prompting incorrect attacks from leftists including MSNBC’s Joy Reid.
You’d almost never know her father’s administration, to which she is an adviser, was brutally separating migrant children from their asylum-seeking parents and lost track of 1,500 of them… https://t.co/sMQ2GWA2zY

Ivanka was called “tone deaf” and “insensitive” by the Alt-left were their immigration talking points, all of which have been debunked by The Daily Wire’s James Barrett: the feds have not separated, nor did they “lose” 1,500 children.
“The nearly 1,500 children in question came into the country ‘without their parents,’ thus could not have been ‘ripped’ from their parents arms. Nor could they be described as ‘lost,’ as had been initially claimed,” wrote Barrett.
Even the The New York Times noted that those who were “unaccounted for” are not simply “lost,” but, likely, “some of the adult sponsors simply chose not to respond to the agency.”
Here’s some other attacks:
CNN ran an entire on-air segment over the “backlash.”
