‘Morgan Jones’ and 60 Minutes segment by Lara Logan highlights Benghazi events VIDEO
Under an alias to protect his identity Morgan Jones spoke with 60 Minutes, detailed the events of Benghazi and recounting his emotions as he discovered Ambassador Christopher Stevens had been killed by terrorists.
The report begins by directly contradicting the statements made by the White House in the days which followed September 11, 2012. Jay Carney for example, denied it was an organized attack, a terrorist attack and pointed to the YouTube video – detailed here

Jones notes during the interview that Benghazi was full of jihad supporting Muslims with their black flags flying proudly and was joined by Green Beret Commander Andy Wood who points to direct threats by al Qaeda operatives to attack the Red Cross, the British and then the Americans.
In the wake of a failed attempt on the life of the British ambassador, Wood says they “made good on two of their two promises” and it was just a matter of time.
Senior al Qaeda operative Abu Anas al-Libi, who was captured earlier this month, was known to be in Libya to setup a “clandestine terrorist network inside the country. Al-Libi was already wanted for his role in bombing two U.S. embassies in Africa.”
The Deputy to Ambassador Stevens, Gregory Hicks, outlines his role in requesting additional security and getting the call on the day of the attack.
“Ambassador said that the consulate’s under attack. And then the line cut….(more questions)….He sounded frightened.”
Hicks had been vocal, saying he has been punished for coming forward and questioning the actions on that day. More details here.
Back to Jones, who relayed the message from the attackers who beat the guards.
“We’re here to kill Americans, not Libyans,” so they’d give them a good beating, pistol whip them, beat them with their rifles and let them go.”
