‘Monster House’ director, Gil Kenan joins Sam Raimi ‘Poltergeist’ remake
The Monster House director, Gil Kenan, will join producer Sam Raimi on the remake, reports Deadline.
Kenan has also directed City of Ember and is currently working on developing A Giant with Lava Bear and The Henson Company.
The original 1982 Poltergeist film starred Craig T Nelson and Jobeth Williams as parents whose family were menaced by evil spirits of the restless dead.
Nathan Kahane and Roy Lee are also attached to produce Poltergeist for MGM.
