Mitch McConnell calls on the President to delay Obamacare
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has called on President Obama today to delay the implementation of Obamacare, particularly in light of it’s shaky start.
“Another campaign-style event won’t solve the myriad problems facing consumers under Obamacare. For months, the American people have been learning about the impact Obamacare will have on individuals and families in the form of higher premiums, disrupted insurance, and lost jobs—more broken promises from the administration. Obamacare costs too much and it’s not working the way they promised. And when a visit to the Obamacare website makes a trip to the DMV seem pleasant, it’s time for the President to consider delaying this rushed effort.”
There has been much criticism over the apparent inept rollout of Obamacare, in particular, Healthcare.gov, the federal government’s Obamacare website, which has been a abysmal blunder.
