Mississippi murder suicide: Dazzie Peters killed by Mike Seay
Pike County Police in Mississippi claim that relationship break-up may have led to a man murdering Dazzie Peters, found dead Thursday night.
Peters, 54, and Mike Seay, 65, both of McComb, are dead, found by deputies on Thursday night responding to a call of shots fired at 1022 Pearl River Avenue Extension.
Authorities said the two had been dating but Peters wanted to end the relationship.
In the past week, Seay had been arrested twice for harassment and causing a disturbance, which led to Peters placing a no-contact order against him. After a run-in with Seay at a convenience store Thursday, Peters returned home.
The door to the residence had been kicked in and neighbors reported hearing at least three shots. Seay’s wound is self-inflicted.
The investigation is ongoing, being treated as a murder suicide.
