‘Mission Impossible Fallout’: New trailer, poster

Tom Cruise is coming back as Ethan Hunt for another Mission Impossible, the sixth in the franchise: Mission Impossible: Fallout.

Directed by 2015’s Ghost Protocol filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie, the thriller centers on another incident of rebellious Hunt, defying authority. DC’s Superman, Henry Cavill is actually the new villain in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Cruise’s 25,000 foot Halo jump has garnered a ton of attention, especially after a new featurette, check it out below.

Simon Pegg will be back as Benji Dunn, the tech guy; Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell; Alec Baldwin returns as Secretary Alan Hunley; and Rebecca Ferguson as the double agent Faust. New to the franchise is The Crown‘s Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett will play the new CIA Director and Wes Bentley plays an unknown character.

That Ghost Protocol villain, played by Sean Harris, is back as well, teased in the early footage.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout arrives in theaters on July 27, 2018.

Here’s a short synopsis: The best intentions often come back to haunt you. Mission: Impossible – Fallout finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.
