Missing Tennessee man, Jason Duggin, found murdered near lake
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the body of Jason Edward Duggin was found in a Silver Accord at the lake access on Co-Op Road in Rockford Friday night.
The missing Tennessee man went missing late last month, Duggin’s family notified authorities. Knox County Sheriff’s Office’s Major Crimes unit is looking into the incident as the preliminary results of an autopsy reveal Duggin’s death is consistent with homicide.
Duggin, 36, nicknamed “Antioch,” went missing on January 29 and anyone with information on the case are asked to please call the Blount County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit during normal business hours at (865)273-5001. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing North Knox County man. 36-year-old Jason Edward Duggin was last seen on Friday, January 29, 2016 around 7:00 p.m. at his house on Meadowbrook Circle in North Knox County. He was driving a silver 2002 two door Honda Accord with a spoiler, with a Tennessee license plate of R06 32K. He was supposed to be on his way to a local gas station to meet an unknown person and return home.
Duggin goes by the nickname “Antioch” and is a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5’9″, 180 pounds, and has a scar on the right side of his head that should be easily visible.
