Missing Pennsylvania woman, Sharone Nakoa, identified as body found in Ohio River
A body found in the Ohio River has been identified as that of a missing Pennsylvania woman.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department said the West Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office identified the body as Sharone Napua Nakoa, 32 and notified the county on Monday. Nakoa is from Monaca, Pa. and was found on April 16 near the Jennings Randolph Bridge.
The sheriff’s department says Nakoa was reported missing to the Monaca Police Department on Feb. 19. She was identified by the tattoo on the back her neck, her mother told the press.
