During the preliminary activities prior to the big event on Dec. 19, The Miss Universe contest is featuring a YouTube segment where you get to meet the contestants. Miss Universe Philippines, Janine Tugonon, was featured and when asked, “If the world were going to end tomorrow, what one crazy thing would you do?” she replied, “I’d probably eat a lot”, according to the video released Dec. 8.

During the series of three questions, the University of Santo Tomas pharmacy graduate appeared a little nervous while giving her answers.

When asked what are your favorite holiday traditions, Janine replied, “Our family tradition is very simple, fun and happy. The whole family gathers together in our house and eats and sings and dance.” She clearly missed being home for the holidays.

In the second question, she was asked, “What has been your most interesting dating experience?”

In what is possibly the most bizarre answer she tells the story of a date with her boyfriend and upon returning home in a cab, their taxi driver, in a fit of “road rage”, went after another taxi driver and pulled a gun.

The longest-held and reigning Miss Universe winner, Angola’s Leila Lopes passes the crown at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on December 19.
