Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar ‘trivializes’ 9/11 terrorist attacks, says she and CAIR could ‘care less’ about pro-Israel protesters

While delivering a speech at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) “trivialized the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history,” according to the coverage by The Daily Wire.

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.

Understandably, the Daily Wire noted that the anti-Semitic Omar continued to dismiss Israel and those protesting her inflammatory remarks against Jews, saying this about the hundreds of protesters at the event in Los Angeles, calling them “very interesting”: “I don’t think any of them realize that people like myself and many of the people in this room could care less about what they have to say.”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX): “First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something’. Unbelievable.”

New York Congressman Lee Zeldin “During my time in Congress before got here, I didn’t once witness another Member target Jewish people like this with the name calling & other personal attacks. In 2019 though, for , this is just called Monday.”

Author and speaker Allie Beth Stuckey Tweeted: “This is FAR WORSE than any misconstrued and decontextualized comments Candace has made, and yet will receive a polite nod and a golf clap from leftists.”
