Mika Brzezinski questions whether Donald Trump read the Constitution. Good question, wrong questioner
After months and months of sucking up to Donald Trump, presumably for ratings, MSNBC’s Morning Joe has turned tail on the Republican presidential nominee and bash him every chance possible. It is quite reminiscent of the network eight years ago who propped up John McCain while in the primaries, only to destroy him in the general election.

It was so bad at one point, I told a friend I thought Joe Scarborough was vying to be Trump’s Press Secretary, they got so chummy…almost to the point of Sean Hannity, but not quite.
On the Friday morning show, the round table that included “constitutionalists” like co-host Mika Brzezinski and former “Car Czar”, Steve Rattner were rambling on about the speech by Khizr Khan, father of fallen U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan and his pulling out a pocket Constitution questioning whether Donald Trump had ever read it.
Good question and I would suggest the answer is no.
However, do we really need super big government media elites that promote every unconstitutional government program, regulation and the stripping of the Bill of Rights to question anyone on the Constitution?
Brzezinski, the smug and self-righteous host who once called Lincoln a founding father said, “I think the speaker raised an important question about Donald Trump, I think its actually a question whether Trump has read the Constitution and really understands the principles on which…
She was interrupted by Rattner, the guy behind the “constitutional” auto bailout who jovially said, He hasn’t cause he calls them chapters instead of articles and he got the number wrong” to the cheers of the crowd at the establishment they aired the show from.
Mika returned offering these important questions that should be asking herself and most on the panel– “This is the first time that people are actually wondering has he?
“Does he understand the foundation this country is built upon? I think he’s proven along the way that he may not..at all”
Great questions, wrong questioner. Would Ms Brzezinski also ask the same of Mrs Clinton, despite being a law school graduate, based on the things she’s said and policies she’d like to put forth, maybe she read it; however, it clearly doesn’t restrain her at all.
In addition to this segment of Morning Joe, Scarborough asked his co-host if she will support the untrustworthy Hillary Clinton and Brzezinski said that didn’t matter anymore. She has previously said she thought it felt like Clinton was lying straight out and once asked if the former secretary thought we were stupid.
Apparently, trustworthiness, or the lack of it, only matters for a while.
