Michael Bay talks ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ saying CGI is ‘amazing’
While promoting his latest film, Pain & Gain, director Michael Bay spoke about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, which will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman.
Talking with Collider, who was discussing that the film is bigger and grander than people expect.
“Well, I’ve seen the CGI that we are doing…it’s really real. It’s very cool. It’s the new performance capture stuff. The turtles, the cast…look amazing, so….people keep thinking it’s my Ninja Turtles, but it’s not. I’m producing, I’m directing Transformers 4.”
Now Bay does admit he pretty hands on as a Producer.
“Yeah, I’m in the right places. It’s still the director (who) makes the movie.”
The film was marred by some poor fan response to the original name, Ninja Turtles, and rumors, so the CinemaCon proved to be the setting for the latest news on the film.
