Merrick McKoy kills toddler daughter Mia McKoy-Phanthavongsa after posting murder suicide plans on Facebook
A Colorado man reportedly shot and killed his 19-month-old daughter moments after posting on Facebook that his separation from the girl’s mother was the motive.

Merrick McKoy, age 22, wrote “I told u I can’t live without u lol u thought I was joking now me n Mia out this b—-.”
He posted a photo of the girl and her mother awoke with McKoy standing over her with a handgun, says Colorado police.
The pair fought and she escaped, running in the neighborhood where 911 was called.
Police says that when they arrived they discovered McKoy and Mia both on the floor from gunshot wounds to the head. Both were rushed to the hospital with McKoy surviving, but in critical condition.
“Don’t judge me had no choice,” he wrote in his final Facebook post before carrying out his scheme.
CBS Denver reports the mother of the victim had a restraining order against McKoy.
