MC Hammer claims racial profiling led to his arrest after being pulled over for expired tag, tweets insults
The MC Hammer arrest in California has resulted in a string of interesting tweets by the former rap star. According to CNN on Feb. 23, Hammer said the police officer was racially profiling him, resulting in the eventual arrest.

Stanley Kirk Burrell aka MC Hammer
The arrest took place on Thursday, when Hammer was driving through northern California. Hammer was driving a vehicle with an expired registration that did not belong to him when the police pulled him over. The officers said they asked who the owner of the vehicle was and that Hammer became argumentative at the time, refusing to answer questions.
He said that a “chubby Elvis looking dude” started to tap on his car window while he was in a shopping center parking lot. He said that the man then asked if he was on parole or probation. He said he didn’t answer that question, and began to hand the officer his id.
Hammer said that the officer reached in to try to physically pull him out of the vehicle, but was unable to because of his “steady donut diet.” He said that is when the man pulled a gun on him and yelled for someone to help him. He said there is nothing more dangerous than a “scared man with an agenda, a gun and a badge.”
He then went to Twitter to answere the officer’s original question that led to the MC Hammer arrest.
“Contrary to his personal beliefs, all people of color are not on parole or probation fat boy!!!,” Hammer wrote.
WHY IS THIS NEWS?
OBVIOUSLY, “MC Hammer” LEARNED SOMETHING FROM THE MULTIPLE ARRESTS OF, Tupac Amaru Shakur. FOR RAP-STARS, ARRESTS/JAIL-TIME PROVIDE “STREET CRED” FOR THOSE WHO CLAIM RAPPERS – IN REALITY – KNOW NOTHING OF STREET LIFE. IF YOU ARE A MALE OF COLOR, YOU ARE NOT A “Man,” UNLESS, YOU HAVE BEEN TO JAIL.
AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, “MC Hammer” SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN JAIL LONG AGO FOR “RIPPING-OFF” THE MUSIC OF, “Rick James” – EVEN THOUGH, “Mr. James” WAS COMPENSATED.
THIS WAS THE DESPERATE ACT OF A “WASHED-UP” RAPPER; DRIVING A VEHICLE WITH EXPIRED REGISTRATION IS PROOF.
