Maryland State Police search for hit and run driver, victim identified as Judith Hill
Maryland State Police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run on Interstate 695 early this morning.
The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Judith A. Hill of Halethorpe, Maryland.
According to a media release obtained by The Global Dispatch, troopers from the Golden Ring Barrack responded to a 9-1-1 call claiming that a body was lying in the median on Interstate 695. When officers arrived they discovered Hill’s 2007 Chevy pick-up on the right side of the road.
Investigators believe that Hill exited the vehicle around 5:00 a.m. this morning and was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop.
Hill’s body was taken to the Baltimore County Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
