Marvel artist Mike Perkins coming to Tampa
The lineup for the Tampa Comic Con in March continues to grow as Marvel creator Mike Perkins has now been confirmed to be in attendance.
From the Tampa Comic Con announcement:
The super friendly and super talented artist, Mike Perkins, will be returning to the Tampa Bay Comic Con for the March 3-4, 2012, convention. Having been in the biz for years, his more recent works include: Stephen King’s, “The Stand”, Captain America and House of M: Avengers! He will only be attending on Saturday, March 3rd!
Perkins signed an exclusive contract with Marvel in 2004 and currently draws on the comic book adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand” as well as a contributor to the artwork for many different covers.
One of Mike’s biggest projects and legacies was his work on the Captain America, or more specifically, the Death of the Captain America story arc.
The Tampa Bay Comic Book Convention is Saturday and Sunday March 3-4, 2012 from 10am-4pm. As noted Mike Perkins will ONLY be appearing on Saturday. For more information check out the Tampa Comic Con website here.
