Mark Wahlberg stars in ‘Transformers Age of Extinction’ photo with Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor

Transformers: Age Of Extinction has released a new image online, featuring a glimpse of Mark Wahlberg and some of the human cast.

Transformers 4 bannerWahlberg appears in the foreground in front of an abandoned gas station, while joined by co-stars Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor.

Peltz will play Wahlberg’s daughter in the film, and Reynor will play her boyfriend, with the trio making a discovery that brings both Autobots, Decepticons and the government down on their case.

Plot details are pretty sparse beyond that basic overview, except for the added fact that the Dinobots are to be involved in some capacity.

“I cannot disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about,” said the producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, sending fans into an online frenzy.

“The world’s coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film,” continues di Bonaventura, “including Chinese vehicles, so whether you are a car enthusiast or not, it will be a feast for the eyes.”

Directed by Michael Bay and co-starring Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci and Titus Welliver, Transformers: Age Of Extinction will open in theaters

on 10 July 2014.
