Marian Rivera comes back strong in 2013
Filipina commercial model and actress, Marian Rivera, came back strong in 2013 with a plethora of achievements, awards and recognition, after a rough 2012.
As Dinno Erece writes in Sunday’s Manila Standard Today:
GMA’s top female star fell hard in 2012, did not start 2013 quite right but a series of good deeds and great publicities gave her a solid return and firm grasp on the title Primetime Queen.
Marian Rivera started 2013 with not-so-happy news as she separated with her long time manager Popoy Caritativo and moved to join the Triple A talent management of the APT Entertainment group. What could have been a disastrous career-killing move became a blessing in disguise. Suddenly, Marian’s name became ‘sweet’ again as endorsements returned and new products signed her up from cell phone manufacturers to lingerie and perfume plus more. She also became a movie producer too and recipients of several acting and achievement awards.

And it’s very true, Marian’s list of accomplishments for 2013 is quite extensive. As listed on her official Facebook page today, they include Golden Screen TV Awards: Outstanding Performance by an Actress Winner for Amaya,
Northwest Samar State University Awards: Best Actress in a Primetime Teleserye Winner for Amaya, PMPC Star Awards for Television: Best Drama Actress Winner for Temptation of Wife, Asian Television Awards: Best Actress in a Lead Role Nomination for Temptation of Wife and Vietnam’s Today TV & SNTV’s Face of the Year Award: Best Foreign Artist Winner.
And that’s not all…
She won FHM 100 Sexiest Women of the Philippines, Yahoo! OMG Awards: Celebrity of the Year Winner, Anak TV Awards: Anak TV Makabata Awardee Winner, Movie Writers Welfare Foundation: Gintong Palad Public Service Award Winner with Dingdong Dantes, StratPOLLS 2013: Most Trusted Female Celebrity Product Endorsers – Included: Rank #14, Yahoo!
