‘Manhattan’ season 2 trailer focuses on keeping secrets
WGN America debuted the original drama Manhattan last year, which now heads into season two, previewed in the teaser below.
Manhattan is set in 1943 Los Alamos, the site of the Manhattan Project, which saw the development of the atomic bomb. Secrets from public knowledge is just the backdrop as secrets between researchers is even more interesting, especially for those who are confined to a true need-to-know basis.
The first teaser for Season 2 has Frank Winter and company being asked “Are you good at keep secrets?” “Would you sacrifice your family for the good of the country?” “Have you ever had sexual relations with a communist?”
And most importantly, “Have you ever conspired to destroy the world?” To that one the reply is: maybe.

Manhattan stars John Benjamin Hickey, Olivia Williams, Ashley Zukerman, Rachel Brosnahan, Daniel Stern, Harry Lloyd and Katja Herbers.
The new season will see the addition of long time CSI star William Petersen as the new high ranking officer on “The Hill,” Also new are The Good Wife star Mamie Gummer as a liason to Meeks with Griffin Dunne set to play a tenacious newspaper reporter.
Manhattan season 2 will premiere this fall.

The series, created by Sam Shaw and directed by Emmy Award®-winning director Thomas Schlamme, follows the tangled lives of the residents of Los Alamos, New Mexico, as they race to detonate the first nuclear bomb in history.
