‘Lost’ star Rebecca Mader joining ‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 as a villain, possibly Cruella de Vil

Another baddy is headed to Storybrooke for the third season of Once Upon a Time. Lost star Rebecca Mader will be joining the cast as an undisclosed female villain.

E! News reports that Mader will “play the newest villain going up against Storybrooke’s forces of good. The actress, who will be on for multiple episodes…”

Rebecca Mader Charlotte LostFans will get their first glimpse at the actress’ evil ways when they tune-in to Once Upon a Time‘s mid-season finale airing Dec. 15.

The rumors are swirling that her role is Cruelle de Vil.

Alexandra Metz (Originals) has been cast well as Rapunzel, reports TV Line. Rapunzel will be introduced into the Once Upon a Time universe in the 14th episode. Metz was signed for only the one episode.

Mader was Charlotte Lewis in 20 episodes of Lost.

Other Season three has seen a slew of recurring players appear on the small screen as iconic fairy-tale characters, including Robbie Kay (Peter Pan), Jamie Chung (Mulan), Sean Maguire (Robin Hood), Rose McIver (Tinker Bell), Julian Morris (Prince Phillip), Sarah Bolger (Aurora) and Joanna Garcia (Ariel).

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
