Long time Fox anchor, Gregg Jarrett, arrested in Minneapolis airport bar

Fox News Channel’s (FNC) America’s News HQ co-anchor, Gregg Jarrett was arrested Wednesday afternoon in a Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport bar for obstructing the legal process by interfering with airport police officer.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports police were called about an intoxicated man at the Northern Lights Grill in the main terminal. Police say that Jarrett, 59,  seemed intoxicated, acted belligerent and refused to follow orders.

Jarrett was released on a $300 bond early Thursday morning for the misdemeanor. A court date has been set for 6/6/2014 @.08:15.

According to a Fox News spokesperson Thursday, “We were made aware late last night that Gregg Jarrett was arrested in Minneapolis yesterday and charged with a misdemeanor. He is dealing with serious personal issues at this time. A date at which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined.” 

Jarrett joined the Fox News Channel in 2002. Prior to joining FNC, Jarrett was an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC.
