Lindsey Graham: Trump wins Nobel Peace Price, a lot of liberals will ‘kill themselves’
During a recent interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said that if President Trump wins the Nobel Peace Prize he thinks a lot of liberals would “kill themselves.”
Speaking with host Maria Bartiromo about the movement towards peace on the Korean Peninsula involving the meeting between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Graham stated: “President Trump, if he can lead us to ending the Korean War after 70 years and getting North Korea to give up their nuclear program in a verifiable way deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and then some.”
“Yes, will he get it?” Bartiromo asked. “I mean, obviously, this is something that the mainstream media will push back at. But you’re right. If this is actually materializing, what an enormous accomplishment for President Trump.”
“I want to be there,” Graham said. “It may be the first time the Nobel Peace Prize was given and there was mass casualties because I think a lot of liberals would kill themselves if they did that.”
