Libertarian Robert Saviola to challenge Kathleen Peters for Florida House seat
Robert Saviola filed his campaign paperwork to declare his candidacy for Florida State House Rep District 69. The area encompasses south-west Pinellas County including a portion of St. Pete.
“I wanted to just relax under a palm tree,” says Saviola. “The problem is I have children and, for them, and for all of your children and grandchildren, we need to get our Constitution back.” As a House Member, he plans to reduce taxes and increase freedoms by reducing the incarceration rate for victimless crimes.
A native of Buffalo, NY, Saviola proudly served in the United States Air Force as a B52 defensive aerial gunner during the cold war under the Carter and Regan administrations.
Robert left the Republican Party because “there is no longer a Republican Party”. According to Saviola, “The Republicans and the Democrats are both on the same side, their side. There is only the illusion of two parties, of which neither one truly cares about our Constitution, our freedoms, or us. Unless we all wake up to this fact, there will be little chance for our children to experience the America that you and I were fortunate enough to have been able to live in.”
As a successful hypnotist, Robert helps his clients build confidence, overcome stress, fears, smoking, and more. An accomplished sales training executive and business professional, he has his own radio show on current events that airs on the top news, talk, weather station in Buffalo, New York.
Robert resides in Treasure Island. He and Donna Saviola have five grown children.
District 69 includes Redington Shores, Redington Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, Tierra Verde, Pass-a-Grill, Kenneth City, and western parts of St. Petersburg, Seminole, and Pinellas Park.
