Libertarian Lucas Overby discusses Florida issues headed into race with Alex Sink, David Jolly

Now that the candidates are set, The Global Dispatch set out to include the third candidate in the race for Florida’s District 13 Congressional seat.

Lucas Overby portraitLibertarian Lucas Overby was asked to address the key issues outlined in the article on Tampabay.com which were: Affordable Care Act, Deficit Reduction, Oil Drilling, Immigration, Abortion rights and Experience.

The article by the Tampa Bay Times didn’t always explain the complete stance by Alex Sink or David Jolly, but each topic was discussed with Overby. Moreover, the general media of the campaign overlooked Overby – read more details here.

Overby elaborated to discuss spending cuts, working on the immigration reform issues with the Hispanic caucus and how his role in Congress isn’t directly tied to the responsibility of the State of Florida to handle oil drilling and abortion laws.
