‘Legends of Tomorrow’ art and details preview ‘total madness’

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow showrunner Phil Klemmer teased the upcoming CW show, describing it as “total madness” as concept art reveals the action for the upcoming midseason show.

Featuring the heroes from Arrow and The Flash to form a new superhero team, Klemmer (Chuck, Veronica Mars) will helm the new show and previewed the event in the latest EW.

“They’re screw-ups. Instead of tiptoeing through history, they’re plodding through it, leaving their footprints and fingerprints and constantly having to wonder whether they’re going to screw the future up rather than fix it.”

Klemmer tells Entertainment Weekly that: “It’s going to be total madness.”

Check out the newly released concept art below.

Revealed is Time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) gathering Firestorm (Victor Garber), The Atom (Brandon Routh), The White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) and athlete-turned-mechanic Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) to battle the villainous Vandal Savage in the series.

Vandal Savage is a such a grave threat to humanity that the heroes even turn to Rogues villains Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) for help – but can they be trusted?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere in 2016 on The CW.
