Ladarius Glover, Dale Robinson both arrested for murder of Horace Scott after K2 Spice transaction
Polk County Sheriff’s office report that two suspects have been arrested and jailed in connection with the December murder of Horace Scott.
The Jan. 11 report says Dale D’Andrew Robinson and Ladarius Demario Glover, both age 20 and of Lakeland, are responsible for the fatal shooting of Horace Scott as he stood on his front porch just after Scott sold synthetic marijuana, known as K-2, to a witness. The money that the witness told detectives he gave to Scott ($150.00 cash) for the K-2 was not found on Scott after he was killed.
Witnesses positively identified Robinson and Glover as the two suspects who were seen in the Secret Cove subdivision before and after the shooting. Phone records, video surveillance images, and interviews with witnesses confirm that the two suspects were responsible for shooting and killing Scott, and robbing him.
“It is a tragedy that Mr. Scott was shot and killed standing on his own front porch; however, here is further proof that synthetic marijuana, or K-2, is not an innocuous substance. It is a dangerous illegal drug, and criminals who use it, possess it, or sell it, are documented violent offenders.” – Sheriff Grady Judd
On January 9, 2013, Robinson was arrested for one count First Degree Murder, and one count Armed Robbery. Glover is charged with one count First Degree Murder and one count Armed Robbery.
