Kunal Nayyar says playing Raj in ‘Big Bang Theory’ season 7 is ‘dream come true’
While everyone knows him as Rajesh Koothrappali on The Big Bang Theory, Kunal Nayyar’s resume keeps growing and growing, possibly even surprising you.
Discussing his next two Hollywood films, Dr Cabbie (produced by Salman Khan) and The Scribbler, the Big Bang star told DNA India in an Oct. 16 interview that he’s blessed to be on the hit sitcom.

Kunal Nayyar will go from Raj on ‘Big Bang Theory’ to star in the Salman Khan produced ‘Dr Cabbie’
“A dream come true. Like Bollywood, it’s extremely difficult to get a break in Hollywood. I have always wanted to be on an American sitcom. Everytime I think about the show, I pinch myself really hard to check if it’s for real. I feel very blessed and humble to be part of the show. This is a special moment in my career.”
When asked to pick a different character other than Raj, Nayyar said “That would be Howard Wolowitz. He’s extremely interesting, funny and strangely unique.”
In addition to doing the voice of Gupta in Ice Age 4, Nayyar is narrating a documentary and penning a book, some call it a memoir.
“Well…it’s more like a collection of essay than a memoir. I am too young to write a memoir. The book that I am writing is not really in any chronological order. I think I have had an interesting life. I have gone through various phases and have had interesting experiences. I studied in St Columbus, Delhi, and am now here. I have put myself through a lot.
My wedding was a seven-day thing, which may not seem strange in India, bit it unique here. I have had a interesting journey so far. I think It’s little experiences of my life that I think it can be an inspiring story for people.”

THE OTHER DAY, AT Global Dispatch, I TYPED ABOUT Malala Yousafzai “GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN” BY PROMOTING ADVANCEMENTS FOR FEMALES, WHILE HER NATIVE MIDDLE-EAST WANTS FEMALES TO MAINTAIN TRADITIONAL ROLES.
A SIMILAR SITUATION EXISTS WITH Kunal Nayyar. I KNOW NOTHING OF INDIA’S VIEW OF HOMOSEXUALITY. BUT, IT MUST BE QUITE DISTURBING FOR INDIANS TO KNOW Mr. Nayyar HAS [SUPPOSEDLY] AN OFF-CAMERA FRIENDSHIP WITH HIS “OUT” CO-STAR, Jim Parsons.
FOREIGNERS SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN ORDER TO MAKE MONEY – NOT, TO ABANDON THEIR NATIVE VALUES BECAUSE OF AMERICA’S GOAL OF WIDESPREAD ACCEPTANCE.

You making a fool of yourself CHRISTOPHER ALLEN HORTON. Nayyar is married to a beautiful actress and the “gay” rumors are ignorant propaganda of the gay community to glamorize Jim Parsons and their agenda
BTW YOU DO KNOW PEOPLE STOPPED USING THE ALL CAPS YEARS AGO
“Mark My Words,”
I TYPED “FRIENDSHIP” – NOT, “LOVE AFFAIR.”
AFTER THE Primetime-Emmy-Award nominations IN 2012, New YorK Times PUBLISHED Jim Pasons “CAME-OUT” BY ANNOUNCING HIS ENGAGEMENT TO HIS MALE PARTNER [“LOVER;” MAY 2012].
“Mark My Words,” I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO IS HAPPY BECAUSE A FAMOUS PERSON HAS PUBLICLY PROCLAIMED HOMOSEXUALITY. [As a side note, I am angry with a website which claims the great Western-art music composer, Erik Satie, is homosexual; I do not believe that]. BUT, I DO NOT BELIEVE New York Times – WHICH IS KNOWN FOR THE “Watergate Papers” – WOULD WILLFULLY DAMAGE ITS CREDIBILITY BY LYING ABOUT Mr. Parsons.
