Kim Chiu says she’s fine after accident, ‘I’m ok now; work, work, work’
A day after the star of Philippine drama television series, Ikaw Lamang, was in a minor vehicle accident, 24-year-old Kim Chiu says she’s fine and is back at work on the set.
According to the Philippine entertainment website, PEP.ph, the incident occurred in the morning on Wednesday, April 23 along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. Kim was on her way to a taping for the show Ikaw Lamang.
Apparently, Chiu was sleeping in her car when she was thrown face first into the front seat, when her driver made a sudden stop to avoid a “trike or a jeepney”.
She was taken to the hospital for a X-ray, treatment for her bloody nose and released, doctors saying she could go back to work.
On Twitter yesterday, Kim said she was back to work and thanked her makeup artist for his magical work, “bruises lang and my nose is swelling. thanks to my make up artist ate @haidzfernandez for your magic!!!.”
She also thanked her fans for all their well wishes and messages.
Ikaw Lamang is directed by Malu L. Sevilla and Avel E. Sunpongco and stars Coco Martin, Kim Chiu, Julia Montes, and Jake Cuenca. The series premiered on ABS-CBN and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on March 10, 2014.
